Asador Bastian

We had an opportunity to dine on a Tuesday night. We ordered the Tuna Carpaccio, Tortilla Espanola, Waygu Steak, Besugo Fish and then the Rice and Artichokes.

The first 2 items hit well. We enjoyed the texture and taste of the run. It almost had the flavor of meat without being meat. The flavor was excellent. The second item was the tortilla which was egg, potato and onion. Cooked a bit cold but flavor was excellent

Next up are the mains and sides The steak was prepared well and had good flavor. The salt with it was quite good and completely complemented the steak The fish was cooked properly but it was a tad fishy. I think that has to do with the fish type not the preparation Sides were very good The rice had a unique flavor profile and the artichoke was cooked very well

The service is excellent. They have replaced plates and silverware and are really on top of the guest experience. The ambience is interesting because it’s an old home renovated to a restaurant.
