Puesto
We had the opportunity to go to Puesto a New Mexican restaurant in Nashville. The night started off with some Margaritas. I had the original and Staci tried the original also with a dash of spice. I opted for the salt rim and she did the Tajin rim. Well one led to two and got to say they were delicious.
Now to our defense, they had a very good singer playing music for the dinners. His name was Dylan Gerard. Shout out to Puesto and Dylan for the right vibe at the restaurant.
Right off the bat we were eating the chips and salsa. I thought the chips were good. I can guarantee they were gluten free as I had no reaction although I might have been taking a cross contamination risk, couple of margaritas and I forgot to ask.
For dinner we started with the Tuna appetizer. It’s called the Zarandeado. My thought was it was interesting. In my mind it was a tuna tartare but it wasn’t but it was. I am not sure I would order it again but then I wouldn’t not order it again. Just probably more other things to try.
We then ordered a few meals. We had the Short Rib Shared plate between myself and Anthony. Anthony and Melanie ordered an enchilada. Staci had the crispy shrimp tacos. They too were gluten free so that was a nice treat. Everyone walked away impressed and ready to come back.
