The Boleo
We started our evening at a Peruvian Rooftop bar. While Boleo was on a roof, it really didn’t have a view as the roof was really enclosed. It did have a nice open air ceiling.
If you do go to the Boleo you have to make sure you get the right seats. We were really tucked in the back with a column obstructing our view. I think the couches and seats that are near the open top area would be the best.
We ordered a number of the drinks and 3 dishes of food to sample. 2 out of 3 food dishes were good but they are really small. We ordered Plantains and Popped Corn (don’t try it), vegetarian empanadas and ceviche. The empanadas and ceviche were good but really small.
The drinks were interesting but some are different. With the unique flavors in the drinks it’s easy to find something yummy but it’s also easy to find something you won’t like.
We had 4 out of 5 hits!
Hits below:
Rum with edible glitter called Disco Punch
These winners were Pisco Sour (with egg whites), Sparkling Calpirinha and Abuela
Going to avoid the Coconut Negroni next time
